the naked issue

I am beginning to wonder if we have a little nudist on our hands, or at least a little streaker! He followed me into the kitchen, clothed in a shirt and underwear, and when I turned around, he was naked and giggling, saying " I'm naked !" or "look, I'm a naked!". I managed to convince him to clothe himself again before he ate. And hours later, he streaked into our room to greet me, again relishing his nudity, telling me "I like to be naked--can I just be naked?". I told him he could be naked, but he had to stay in his room if he was. He agreed to the terms, and whenever he came out of his room today, he was wearing underwear.

The picture shows him standing on an ottoman with his "directing stick", enthusiastically conducting me as I sang his requests. I got tickled as he wobbled a bit and said "woo! Let me get steady!" and then straightened up and began waving his drumstick baton again.

I was very sick today with a cough and sinus crud, and I spent nearly all day in bed. I hope it's temporary. Dennis wanted so much for me to be a part of his Lego parade, but I just didn't have the strength. And right now, an underwear and cape clad Batman is running through the house singing "da da da dahhhh" and ignoring my requests to go and wash the disintegrated lollipop goo off his hands, so it looks like I'll have to chase him down. Mommies just don't get enough sick time!
