Have you seen that super-annoying Pillow Pet commercial that airs on one of the kid networks? Dennis has. He's been asking for a pillow pet for a few months now. He would love it for a few days, and then I think it would join the countless other stuffed animals in his closet. He thinks he needs one to take with him, to love on, to nap with in the car. Our Walmart now sells pillow pets, and Dennis was positively delighted to see them there. He has sampled them all and prefers the bee and dog over the ladybug because "hey, this ladybug doesn't have any wings!". He has cried each time we have left the store without one. Tonight I reminded him that pillows are used by people who go to sleep, and didn't he just tell me to sell his bed because he didn't want to sleep anymore? Man, that's some seriously good marketing in that commercial!
