We spent today home sick. We all have that wretched cough again. It never completely disappeared before, but we were not coughing as hard or as frequent there for a while. Today we were all hacking grossly and productively, so we quarantined ourselves and had a 'horizontal festival' at home. Dennis read books and watched Mighty Machines DVDs for long portions of the day when he wasn't pretending to be a cowboy wearing David's socks as chaps. He was ravenously hungry all day as well. David and I occupied the couch and bed respectively, and none of us were at all motivated to be active, especially not with outdoor temps so near 100.
Dennis shot at us Bad Guys a few times today with an empty water gun, and he told us we were bad and he was taking us to jail. He decided we were too sick to go, though, so I guess we've been pardoned!
