We were on our way to the lake house today when we passed a political sign for Dave Hayden (running for school superintendent). Dennis said from the backseat all of a sudden "What does Hayden mean? Is there hay? Where's the hay? Is there hay for the horses?". Since we've not ever mentioned this particular name, we can only presume he read it for himself. I was shocked and super impressed at his brilliance!

We had a fun evening at the lake with Ju-Ju and Steve, Monte, Gigi, Allison, Gran and Pop, and Grandma and Bob. We had excellent barbecue for supper and several of us enjoyed some swimming time. We're gearing up for a big party day tomorrow!
