All evening, whenever Dennis has moved from one room to another, he has been telling us "I need a grown-up to come with me.". We finally insisted he go to the bathroom by himself, and in a few minutes, he reported back to us. He looked incredulous and said "There's a little man in the bathroom and he told me not to go through the big gate". Now, we knew there wasn't a person in our bathroom, but we looked at each other and simultaneously got up and walked back there. We checked the 'gate' that closes off the water heater as well. Dennis laughed at us, of course. It might take me a while to get to sleep tonight!
