I don't think Dennis got in trouble at all today. What a refreshing change that was! He was very sweet and very well behaved (and very fun!). I enjoyed his quirky sense of humor when he brought me this Lego tower constructed entirely from legs. We also played cowboy some, him riding his pony and singing "yippie ky hee I'm on my way to Texas!" (complete with exaggerated cowboy drawl). He threw in some "oh yeah"s for good measure. He also cleaned his room several times and insisted I come and see it each time (which I gladly did).
He asked me this afternoon why we'd taken the mistletoe down after Christmas. He said he missed it, that he had liked giving us kisses under the mistletoe. I love that he's still cuddly, huggy and affectionate. I love it most of the time, I should say, because sometimes he's a bit aggressive in his enthusiasm and wallows all over us to the point of injury! But I will certainly miss all this cuddliness when he gets too big to want all these hugs.
