We scored a used pull-behind bike today for a great deal, and David had worked on his bike before we arrived home with it. Dennis was delighted to get to go on an immediate ride, and David learned that you can really tell when Dennis is pedaling!
Dennis told us that we should have a family night tonight with pizza, and when we agreed, he yelled "family night--hooray! I love family night--it's my favorite!". We treasure this response, knowing the days when he will feel this way will not last forever. He sang a happy little family night song all the way home. We ate pizza and watched the rest of Transformers (the movie). He was thrilled!
