the full repertoire

Today I struggled with the agony of a neck that is stiff and sore, largely due to Dennis landing on top of my head as we jumped into the lake together on Saturday. I haven't been much fun to play with, so he's assumed a lot of roles to entertain himself. He's been a ninja, several Transformers, an astronaut, a navigator, a cowboy, an army man, a newspaper delivery boy on a bicycle, a scientist, and sometimes just a sweet and cuddly little boy who told his mama that he wished she felt better. To quote his daddy, there's nothing like a little boy. Thank you again and again, Lord, for the marvelous little being that is Dennis.
