happy birthday david

David turns 34 today, and we celebrated rather understatedly at home. I cooked a monster breakfast of biscuits from scratch, sausage, gravy (also from scratch) and scrambled eggs with cheese. I cooked a spaghetti supper and his requested German chocolate cake (thank goodness--I hate coconut and therefore won't be eating any of it!!). We left the balloons and streamers in place from Dennis' party. He worked a few hours and then played his brand new computer game that he used a little of his birthday money to purchase. Thank you everyone for the fond birthday wishes and for the cash that he used to buy himself a little happiness in the form of Sim City 4. Dennis sang Happy Birthday to him tonight. I think he had a wonderful day. I certainly hope he did, at any rate.
