cough fest

I had a day of very limited interaction with Dennis. I only spent a total of 3 hours out of bed today, but he did come in often to visit and/or jump on me! I don't feel sick until I'm up--being vertical seems to trigger intense coughing spells and those resort in serious fatigue. It wasn't the best day, but I do seriously appreciate that David was around to take good care of us. He took Dennis out with him to a repair job this morning, and Dennis spent some time chatting up the renter at the place. The visit to the hardware store went from joy to dismay--he was thrilled to see all his friends but was heartbroken to discover that they were out of popcorn. It just ruined his mood. He did enjoy his newest activity tonight: choir practice at church. They started today in preparation for a patriotic musical they'll perform toward the end of June. I can't wait!
