we heart the lake

Oh, the bliss of a lazy summer day, 2 hours in the water hanging out with Jim, Jackie, and Zoe (and Gran and Gigi). We swam, canoed, rode the pedal boat (with the kids "fishing" off the back), and ate the usual spectacular burgers-and-dogs-from-the-grill meal. Very very fun. Dennis even took the canoe for a spin all by himself (David was helping in the water up against the side where Dennis wouldn't see him). Tonight I asked him what he did today that was memorable as I prepared to write. He said "you mean me, the cutest one?". Yep. Memorable.
