I was quite surprised to see Dennis wearing his winter hat and mittens when he appeared at the door when it was time to leave. He asked me when winter was coming and asked if it would snow. He said "I really want to go tobogganing. I could use a box as a toboggan, right?". Let's hope we get a good snow this winter! I'm just enjoying the lovely fall evenings myself, especially now that Dennis and I are feeling better.
Tonight was Open House at the preschool, and both sets of his grandparents were there. He delightedly showed off his artwork and pictures and hugged his teachers. And then he took us all to see his favorite part of school: the playground!
