We went to watch our alma mater play football tonight, taking Dennis to his first high school ball game. The Gallmans were with us, and both kids enjoyed it so much. They kind of parked themselves in front of the cheerleaders after enjoying the marching band performances at half time. While I wondered if watching the game might make Dennis aspire to one day play the game or play in the band, I was not prepared for the amount of influence the cheerleaders had over him. Several times we watched him cup his hands around his mouth and yell "let's go tigers" or just "go tigers", but we really saw it when he perched with arms akimbo just like the cheerleaders between cheers. When they resumed cheering, he and Chloe resumed their jumping and dancing and hand motions, with accompanying yells of encouragement. They were adorable!
