bunny day

I got such a charge out of looking into Dennis' classroom every time I walked by it today. Today was Bunny Day, and every kid made rabbit ear headbands and had their faces painted with pink noses and gray whiskers. Most kids had taken off their headbands after a short while, but my kid was a bunny all day! He was such a cute little hopper!

My heart was happy tonight as I heard him share the Easter story with his classmates at church. Tomorrow is their party at school and egg hunt, and I know he's excited, but there's been a lot more talk about Jesus than about the Easter Bunny. I'm pleased that his priorities are straight, though the Easter Bunny might ought to get on the ball, now that I think about it...
