open house fun

I didn't write yesterday because I just couldn't bring myself to write about poop again, and that's really the only thing of consequence that happened yesterday. Lots of times. There was much crying and whining, and my heart just broke for him, for his misery. He did go to school with me and took care of himself there with no trouble. He did the same today, and I'm troubled to report that he still isn't better. We will consult the pediatrician as soon as we can get an appointment.

Despite his GI tract woes, he had a good day. He helped me at school this morning, getting ready for our open house and art show tonight. He enjoyed a lunch at the newly remodeled Burger King (and tried out the brand-spanking-new indoor playground!). And he was thrilled to show his artwork to his family members--lots of them came to see it and then take him out to dinner (while I was still working at the open house). It was his special day, he said. He even read me a story when we got home. If only his tummy would clear up he'd be an even happier camper.
